What are your handover and return times?
- For a weekend charter handover is usually 18:00 on the Friday and we ask that the yacht is back and vacated by 16:oo on the Sunday.
- On a midweek charter handover is 18:00 on the Sunday (or Monday morning if you wish) with a return and vacated by 15:00 on the Friday
What is your fuel policy?
What is the position regarding car parking?
What sailing qualifications do you require?
However, we will look and see if we can accept a skipper with the equivalent experience of Day Skipper (Tidal) and it helps if there are at least two people on board at that level. Its always best to have a chat with us. We believe that its also important that at least 1 person on board has a DSC VHF Radio licence.
If you do not have any formal qualifications but you have plenty of experience, particularly is in the past you have owned you own yacht then its certainly worth talking to us.
If you are at all uncertain of your abilities or want to brush up those skills before skippering then we may suggest that you take one of our skippers with you for a day, and assuming they are comfortable with your abilities then you will be free to continue your charter.
If you are looking to do cross channel, then or preference is Yacht Master, but again we will take experience into consideration.
ITS ALWAYS WORTH TALKING TO US.
